Our client is a leading sports and entertainment management, marketing and content company. They represent some of the industries most recognized athletes and brands with offices in Los Angeles, New York, North Carolina, San Diego and London.

• Developing and recommending test tools, particularly for web applications. 
• Will work in conjunction with the Development Team to ensure that all product functionality has associated tests and that the tests are executed on appropriate configurations at appropriate times 
• Will be expected to help create the test automation suites and work with other QA Team members to implement a successful automation solution 
• Write and maintain test automation 
• Running tests, collecting and analyzing data, and documenting results. 
• Identifying and documenting bugs and assisting with debug. 
• Track quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts 
• Perform various tests to verify and validate new and existing product features 
• Update staging and testing environments, as needed 
• Regularly review outstanding production issues and maintain workflows in the issue tracking system 
• Manage multiple deliverables against aggressive deadlines 
• Documenting test requirements and test plans. 
• Perform performance, stress and load testing including monitoring and data analysis. 
• Experience with unit, functional, regression, system and UAT testing. 
• Leading software release management

• BS in a technical field or equivalent experience 
• 6+ years in a QA automation experience in software applications. (Okay 4-5)
• Candidates for this position must be able to quickly develop test cases and test tools to effectively test distributed applications at the component and system levels.
• 3+ years in a leadership role of a test automation project (Okay 1-2)
• Experience with version control system, Subversion
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems,(from here on-don\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t need every last thing on list) Apache, relational databases, scripting languages (Java, PERL, ASP, AJAX Shell scripting,, JavaScript, HTML) and associated technologies 
• Effective analytical, oral and written communication skills 
• Must be able to make independent decisions and be effective with minimal supervision
• Must be able to learn new concepts and new technology quickly
• Must be able to work and communicate effectively as part of a small, collaborative team 
• Must have experience with testing tools (JUnit, XUnit) 
• Experience testing server applications 
• Experience with QTP a plus
